Upload issue seems to only apply to the thumbnail, I reduced the image to 800kb, but still had the upload issue. Reduced it down to 180kb and it made the thumbnail. Then I re-uploaded the 800kb version, it updated the main image but still gave the issue with the thumbnail.

Then, how about the error message? If memory limit is updated to 16MB (not 8MB), I will try a bit more.
